Search Engine Optimization TrainingI hear it quite often “How do I implement SEO into my GDI marketing system?” Why do I need to have search engine optimization training to build my GDI business?” Is SEO really necessary or can I just send people to my GDI replicated website and have them sign up from there?

I’m going to reveal to you the importance of search engine optimization training if you want to build your GDI business on a budget even if you are going to be doing PPC, learning some of the fundamental SEO techniques will get you a lot further in the game.

Search Engine Optimization Training
Where to Begin

Using SEO in your GDI business is probably one of the best ways to insure that people will find you on the internet. It is a well known fact that most people find what they are looking for by doing searches on Google or another search engine.

It would seem like a wise idea to have your stuff appear when people are looking for what you offer. So how do you do that? You start by posting content online, but before you just go and start pushing GDI on people you need to know how to setup your article so the search engines know what and who you are targeting.

It’s not that difficult, but you do need to know about keywords and how to find the ones your target audience is typing in to find whatever they are looking for. You also need to know how to place them in your article so they are best optimized and not stuffed to the point where you get slapped for keyword spamming.

In case you are wondering there are free tools available to you for keyword research one of the ones I like to use is freekeywords.wordtracker.com. If you plan on doing PPC you will need to do keyword research as well. Google provides a free tool that shows you how competitive your search terms are, so it gives you an idea how much it will cost.

I suggest you stay away from PPC unless you know what you are doing or take a PPC training course that will teach you how to avoid spending all your money.

One of the biggest reasons to have search engine optimization training to build your GDI business is the simple fact that everything online is based on content and all content is indexed by the search engines so without knowing SEO you leave yourself at a really big disadvantage.

Why do you need SEO when you have replicated sites already built for you?

The first and probably biggest reason is the replicated sites don’t get indexed and will very rarely appear on search results. When they do it is only because the affiliate that represents it had search engine optimization training and knows about off site optimization and building in coming links through article marketing and other forms of link building.

Targeted Email Marketing – How to use Effective Web Based Email Marketing in Your GDI Business

May 04, 2009 By: John Enns Category: Targeted Email Marketing

Targeted Email MarketingTargeted email marketing is one of the last equations in your online marketing campaign, but it’s also one of the best ways to stay in front of your prospect and start building the trust you need to get them to want to join you as a business partner.

Every internet business needs to have a targeted email marketing campaign, and GDI is no different. The question I hear quite often is how do you setup an effective web based email marketing system? That’s a good question, but it’s not the first question that needs to be answered.

The first question is who do you plan on targeting with your web based email marketing? If you plan on purchasing leads then you might as well pack up your bags and move onto something different.

Sending emails to a purchased list is a great way to get yourself accused of spam, and get your internet access suspended by your isp. Targeted email marketing starts by generating your own high quality leads. Generating your own leads can be done with a variety of different methods. You can use PPC, article marketing, SEO tactics, video, blogging etc…

The methods you choose will be based on your personal preference and how much advertising budget you got. The main thing to remember is always give value to your target market if you want them to trust you enough to give you their contact information.

You will also need a way to capture those leads. This is usually done by offering something for free that would be of benefit to your visitors. An autoresponder service to send out your messages at predetermined intervals is another thing that an online marketer can’t do without.

With so much spam being sent now days an online marketer has to be extra careful when using web based email marketing. One of the things you can do is protect yourself, and purchase a service that knows all the email marketing laws.

An autoresponder service is readily available online for a small monthly fee. Not only does it protect you it keeps track of your list as you get new subscribers they start receiving your emails, and when people unsubscribe they are automatically removed from your list.

This leaves you free of the hassles of keeping track of who is on your list or who is not and lets you focus on the things that are really going to make the difference like your marketing.

As you start to build your list and have your targeted email marketing system setup you need to keep in mind that if you start promoting your business or product to heavily people will be turned off and unsubscribe right quick.

Keep your emails informative and filled with value to build trust before you start to promote. People are more likely to except the promotional emails if they are receiving more value filled emails than not. I find a good ratio is one promotional email to every 4 to 6 value filled ones. It is not a rule, but does seem to work well for me.
